About Jay Critch

Thanks to his 2016 hit “Did It Again,” burgeoning Brooklyn rapper Jay Critch became a national sensation before releasing his first mixtape. • Critch started rapping in sixth grade—he would use his friend’s laptop to record lyrics on GarageBand. • Amongst Critch’s earliest SoundCloud uploads was “Did It Again,” which went viral and racked up more than 10 million streams on the platform. • The single caught the attention of Rich The Kid, who signed Critch to Rich Forever Music and enlisted him for the 2017 label compilation Rich Forever 3. • In 2018, Critch gathered his own artists under the independent label Talk Money Entertainment to release the compilation mixtape Talk Money Tape. • Later that year, Critch released his solo debut, Hood Favorite. Boasting features from New York rap veterans French Montana and Fabolous, the mixtape made the upper half of the Billboard 200. • Critch returned in 2020 with his sophomore full-length, the feature-free Signed with Love.
