About Hayley and the Crushers

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember hunting through the dusty vinyl bins with my sister at thrift stores in Hermosa Beach, CA. We picked up everything from oldies, punk, exotica and pop for 25 cents each. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? No Doubt, Tragic Kingdom The Go-Go's, Beauty and the Beat X, Los Angeles X - Los Angeles - the blend of Americana, punk and oldies are still fresh today. The Go-Go's - Beauty and the Beat - This album made me want to join a girl gang! No Doubt - Tragic Kingdom - The perfect blend of sunny SoCal vibes and teen angst Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Jacaranda” There are times in life we forget that the flowers are still blooming. Trapped in a small town, or a limiting situation, we have to bloom where we're planted. This song is about the fact that sometimes the grass truly is greener on the other side. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Meeting LA New Wave icon Josie Cotton, who signed us to her label in 2021 and took us under her wing. Working with Paul Roessler of The Screamers was another big experience and satisfying considering how much early LA punk inspired us as a band. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We've already played in a wrestling ring, on the beach, a comic book shop and at a thrift store. I guess the last frontier would be playing an epic pool party hosted by our hero Dolly Parton!
