In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was inspired to start taking piano lessons after watching Bill Murray jam out on the piano in Groundhog Day. Music was always in my home, but that is my first memory of actually wanting to take part in it. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 311, Stereolithic Dave Matthews Band, Before These Crowded Streets Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stadium Arcadium All three of these albums not only capture the joy of music but also the diversity of feelings that music can inspire from happiness to quiet contemplation. They inspire me to live with purpose and they each make me want to sit down and create. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Follow” This song represents my personal journey to trust in the Lord's timing and in His plan for me. I want to see the whole picture and it's been hard to accept that God sometimes gives me just a single step on that journey. This song is my acceptance. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I had a young woman tell me that a song I wrote inspired her to pursue a spiritual event that she had previously refused to attend. Knowing that my song brought her inspiration to embrace a spiritual experience was very special to me. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to continue to write inspired songs and play them live for as many people as possible. My hope is to be an instrument in the Lord's hands to inspire as many people as possible to come to Him with joy and excitement.
