About Bodurov Trio

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 8 I discovered rock'n'roll and started playing by ear. Before I know it I was hooked on Miles, Coltrane, and Jarrett. When I was 17, I got this regular gig at the local piano bar where mostly mafia guys hung out. These were the times! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Aphex Twin, Richard D. James Album Glenn Gould, Bach: The Goldberg Variations, BWV 988 (1981 Recording, Remastered) Jan Garbarek, Jon Christensen, Keith Jarrett, Palle Danielsson, Belonging Belonging is one of those albums that I just know by heart. For me, it encompasses many worlds - jazz, classical, and folklore. Aphex Twin was my entry to electronic music. Glen Gould transforms Bach's masterpiece into a new dimension Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lale” This is my version of a very famous traditional song "Are you a tulip, or a hyacinth". This song is one of my first attempts to dare do something with Bulgarian folklore. My associations are from nostalgia to humility to simplicity and heroism. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I have won several awards. I have played many concerts. But one of the most memorable moments is when I was hired to play a Christmas concert at a home for elderly people. Their pure reaction is unforgettable. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? hmm........ let me think ................................
