About Blues Traveler

Blues Traveler got their break playing a Columbia University fraternity party attended by David Graham, son of legendary rock promoter Bill Graham, who went on to manage the band. ∙ Inspired by Lollapalooza, Blues Traveler founded the H.O.R.D.E. Festival in 1992. ∙ Their 1994 single “Run-Around” won a Grammy Award and remained on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart for a recording-breaking 49 consecutive weeks. ∙ Their songs have appeared on the soundtracks for the films The Last Seduction, Speed, Very Bad Things, and The Truth About Cats and Dogs. ∙ The band appeared as themselves in the movies Blues Brothers 2000 and Wildflowers. ∙ In 2012, Blues Traveler released a compilation album, 25, to commemorate their 25th anniversary.
