Volleyball Lineup Tracker is a handy utility for volleyball coaches to use before and during matches. Create multiple rosters including scheduled substitutions and optional libero(s). Track possession, score, time-outs, substitutions, libero swaps, and rotations during a set. Includes support for rally or sideout scoring, side switches, libero serving, and non-standard start/end scores. Replaces and far exceeds the functionality of a plastic rotation locator costing $8-10...it even reminds you when you have scheduled substitutions and liberos moving to the front row! Volleyball Lineup Tracker is 13 years old!!! It's amazing that our little app is now old enough to actually play in most club tourneys! :D
We've completely rewritten the entire codebase, streamlined the UX flow, and improved the overall look of the app without changing it too much from what was already working well for the thousands of coaches worldwide using VBLT today.
Additional Updates in 5.0:

- Streamlined Roster and Lineup entering screens to avoid accidentally canceling instead of saving (thanks Coach Russell!)
- Made the fonts on the iPad smaller to fit more players on the screen (thanks Coach Bill!)
- Fixed a bug where subs on loss of possession were not triggered with losing service due to max serves being reached (thanks Coach Aaron!)
- Removed the "current state" from the top of the Undo list since it was confusing (thanks Coach David!)
- Added options to choose which sides show US and THEM or to have it switch with court side change (thanks Coach Mary!)

Excellent app to keep track of line up, score and subs. Easy to use.
Wish I had this for the last 4 years
Right up front I will say that I have not used this in an actual match yet. I have my team data entered into the application and have gone through a couple of test games. I didn't want to waste time fumbling around with a new app during the commotion of game day with a 14's team. I shouldn't have worried though because this app is fairly intuitive, has much better than average instructions and solidly does the job it claims to do.
Most of the features are very obvious because of a well though-out user interface, however it was worth reading the tutorial to find the few less obvious features. The tutorial can be accessed from the app directly or from the developers website so you can read it prior to purchasing this app. The only two items that were not completely intuitive:
--double-tap a back-row player to swap with the Libero.
--press and hold on a particular score if you need to manually correct it.
Even these actions are intuitive once you know that these features are available.
This app has been very stable for me so far (iPhone 4S and iOS 5.0.1). Just wish I had it the last four years as I went through coaching 12s and 13s and there were always rotation issues and, since other players of the same age keep the scoreboard & book, occasional issues with the score. Looking forward to using it in our first tournament next weekend.

Does exactly what it's supposed to. Great for tracking rotation, keeping score, tracking libero, subs & timeouts. Will even track success of various lineups. Developer is very responsive. Had a feature request and heard back in a day. New feature was on my phone in just a couple of days.
