ABC READING MAGIC 2 will help your child gain mastery with consonant blends. This app will give your child practice with consonant blends to improve their reading skills.
This app has three modes.
The Blending Mode helps your child learn the essential reading skill of blending, which helps prepare learners for segmenting.
The Segmenting Mode helps your child learn how to segment words. Segmenting has been recognized as the most important predictor of reading success.
The Reading Mode helps your child read words. Pictures are hidden to encourage true reading instead of picture guessing.

Reading Games to Help Read CVCC, CCVC Words
This app focuses on CVCC and CCVC words.
It divides its games into 3 skill levels.
The two skills it uses before reading are blending and segmenting-which have been shown to be highly effective in building great reading skills. This app does a good job conceptually of giving children the opportunity to practice those skills.
I have seen the children in my class grow in their language ability through using this app.
It is simple and uncluttered and highly recommended.
Great tool for helping read CVCC and CCVC words
This app focuses on blending segmenting and reading CCVC and CVCC words. It teaches these advanced concepts in a clear and friendly way for children. Blending and Segmenting are essential reading skills. It is great to see an app that uses them.
The App I've been looking for
I'm not one to rate apps all the time but I had to with this one. I'm a tutor and I've an 8-year old student whose reading is not up to par yet. I've been seeking an app that's appropriate for his age (as most apps are for younger ages) and that encourages learning how to read through phonetical execution (my term for sounding out the letters) and not by looking at the images and saying the words from memory, which doesn't teach kids how to read at all!
I am quite thankful for this app.
Please continue to make excellent applications in multiple levels and I will gladly support it.
