Description

Notelife is a premium note manager designed for the rest of us. While it goes beyond the basics, it isn't hard to use. You don't have to remember any obscure formatting codes (like Markdown syntax) to format your notes. Nor do you have to have a degree in engineering to sync your notes between all of your devices. Rather, Notelife makes it effortless to store anything and find anything, fast!

Notelife is available for your iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

ICLOUD SYNC*
Notelife seamlessly syncs your notes between all of your devices using Apple's iCloud technology. This means that you don't have to trust your private information to yet another 3rd party. Oh, and did we mention that it's really fast!

FLASH NOTE
Click the Flash Note icon in the menu bar to quickly search your notes while using any application.

UNLIMITED HIERARCHICAL FOLDERS*
Create as many folders as you want for different areas of your life like personal, family, projects, and work. Organize your folders hierarchically into multiple levels of subfolders.

ENCRYPTION
Your notes are always encrypted whether they're stored on your computer, in the cloud, or on their way to the cloud. We've got you covered with industry-standard AES-256 encryption.

UNLIMITED ATTACHMENTS*
Add supplementary information to a note by attaching any number of photos, PDFs, and other files (free version is limited to one per note).

TAGS & FAVORITES*
Tags & Favorites provide another way to categorize your notes. The best thing about tags is you can use them to filter your notes.

EASY TEXT FORMATTING
Choosing fonts and colors is effortless. Instead of having to remember obscure text formatting codes (like Markdown syntax), Notelife offers familiar font controls that make it easy to choose your style. Plus, you can insert tables and lists into your notes.

LOCATION CAPTURE
Your location is automatically captured when you create a note. Now you will have the exact location where you wrote your field study about the rare bird you observed.

Broken on Mac

Well, I ignored the “bad press” here in the reviews and decided to try Notelife for myself. I liked the design and appearance of the app and I liked the idea that the database lived on my computer. I really don’t want a note-taking app that uses “cloud” storage, especially after reading that Evernote at one time considered reading some of their subscriber’s notes. I was particularly interested in the tagging function of this app, but on the Mac, it does not work (works fine on the iPhone). On the Mac, if I click on the “tag” icon by the search bar, I get an “Assign Tags” window instead of the “Filter By Tag” window that should show. Therefore, there is no way in the Mac app to filter by tags. I reported this on the Chronos support site, but as others have mentioned here, there was no response (almost two weeks now). Beautiful design, and if the “Filter By Tag” function would work, it would have all the functionality that I need. My two-star rating is based on the Mac version. If I used it exclusively on the iPhone, I would give it five stars.

Nice App - NonExistent Customer Support

Nice app but I submitted 2 support tickets trying to get help with upgrading to the Pro version - the first one was over a month ago and has never received a response. So I went on my iPad and purchased a copy through iTunes but they never sent a license so couldn’t access the features I paid for on my Mac. Submitted a second support ticket and still no response from them. They had the monehy for over 35 days before I was able to figure it out after the demo copy stopped working. No phone to call, no response to emails, no response to support tickets. Nice app, nice interface but ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT WHAT SO EVER. I would avoid this app until the customer service issue gets resolved.

Useless product and worse technical support

I bought NoteLife as I currently use SOHO notes extensively, and SOHO Notes is no longer supported on the Mac. When buying the license, I was assured that I could migrate my notes from SOHO Notes to Notelife, but this was not possible because the instructions for migration require me to identify a database with the extension “sohodb” in an application support folder, and there is no such folder on my Mac. Two technical support tickets, over a period of 6 weeks, have yielded one response from someone who had no idea what he was talking about, and then, nothing, despite the fact that I provided details information on why the response was useless.
