Description

Neebo worries so you don't have to. Neebo's features include heart rate, oxygen saturation, thermal state, awake detection and smart alert system.

WHAT IS NEEBO?

Neebo is a well-being monitor for children aged 0-5, which addresses the most common parental concerns by analyzing vitals, motion and sound to identify a variety of circumstances, which require a parent’s attention and notifies them via mobile application.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Connection:

Neebo connects to the nearest available device through Bluetooth Low Energy, before transmitting data to the cloud via a mobile containing the app or its charging station.

Technology:

Neebo has 5 sensors continuously monitoring the child's heart rate, oxygen saturation, thermal state and motion.

Monitoring:

Neebo measures and analyses data from the sensors and with its smartphone app which allows parents to see their child’s status day and night.

Feedback:

Neebo alerts parents/caregivers not only to changes in their child’s vital signs, but also to other events that require their attention.

App keeps crashing & device gives false readings

I have an iPhone 13 pro. The app keeps crashing. Also when battery in the Neebo is low it gives false data. My daughter was in the hospital and Neebo was showing 208 bpm while the 5-lead ECG monitor was showing 150 bpm. Same thing at home. When the Neebo battery is in the ~20%, it shows spikes in the heart rate of 170 to 180 bpm, which are false. I use the stethoscope and heart rate is in the 120s. When the app does not crash and the battery is good, it works well and is very useful. I like the fact that I can adjust the upper and lower thresholds for the heart rate, SpO2, and temperature measures, but on the other hand it’s a problem that the app does not keep a history of more than 24 hours or gives you the opportunity to extract your historical data like Fitbit and other trackers do.

Worth every penny, peace of mind is priceless

I’ve been using this on my daughter who was born with complex heart, lung and gut defects. I saw it on a crowd funding site and could not wait for it to come out. Being able to set my own parameters ( with guidance from her health care team) has made all the difference in my peace of mind. For the first time since her birth I can sleep and know that if anything happens I will get an alert. My daughter has suffered a great deal of medical trauma, Neebo looks like a pretty bracelet and my daughter loves wearing it. It doesn’t frighten her like many if the medical devices I have at home for use on her to monitor her.
I have had no issues or problems with either the device or the customer service. The app is so easy to use and I love that I can add people so that when she’s being watched by other caregivers, we can all know how she’s doing.
Neebo is not an FDA approved medical device, but it was my early warning system for the new onset arrhythmias my daughter was having, which were confirmed by a 30 day halter monitor.
This is a very scary time for parents with medically complex children and parents of little ones with risk factors. As a nurse, I strongly urge you to consider purchasing this, you won’t regret it. The cost is manageable if you have PayPal as you can do a payment plan.

Peace of mind for preemie with complications

My son was born very premature and had multiple complications associated with his traumatic birth. When he started to outgrow the owlet, I was frantically searching for a similar solution that he would actually wear and would stay on while he sleeps. Especially with him having been diagnosed with epilepsy. Sleep is a scary time for us. I was overjoyed to find Neebo, and it almost seemed too good to be true from the specs. I had to go on a waitlist for a few months, but they sent an alert when they had more in stock and I jumped on it. Now that we have Neebo and have been using it for a few months, I wish I had found it before buying the Owlet. It fits better and I like that it monitors pulse, ox, activity, AND temperature. It’s been an absolutely Fanta product for us, it’s comfortable for my toddler and he seems to forget it’s even on his wrist. We use it only for sleep and the battery lasts for multiple days before needing a charge. I’ve also written to support to ask questions and they’ve been helpful and responsive. I can’t say enough good things about Neebo, I wish more parents who want a solution like this knew it exists.
