Experian is nothing but a fraud!!!

Experience still has me down 109 points while Trans Union and Equifax has me at 109 points they seem to not be reporting the correct information when I try to dispute they tell me they cannot dispute. They Luer me into applying for credit cards they said I would be a perfect match for an order to have open trade lines to increase my credit score then upon getting denied because of experience low credit score which Trans Union and Equifax have me 109 points on my credit score, I was promised that those credit card applications would not be hard inquiries but again that was a lie and they continue to show them as hard inquiries on my Experian credit report which brought my credit score down five points which I am trying to dispute and they have a number it says you can dispute hard inquiries but upon calling they had me on hold for over 30 minutes while they were investigating it then transfer me to someone new who didn’t know anything about why I was on hold and told me that they cannot dispute hard inquiries I have to call the creditor which is a load of crap!!! Shame on you Experian!!!!!!

100% Must Have!! (Updated 8/23, goodbye Experian)

I tell everyone I love to get this and pay the subscription service. Unlike Credit Karma, Experian shows your FICO Scores. Which is what I have found most major lenders use a FICO Score. Whereas smaller ones might go with Vantage Score. With the Experian App and paid subscription, anytime I am looking into a new loan like an auto loan. I’ll always ask which FICO scoring Model they use and I can hit “Scores” and see the same exact score they will pull up. With this advantage I can rate shop and get the best lending option without wasting hard inquiries “just to see” what it is and what they can do. Also having Experian has been hands down the best tool in my credit fixing journey. In Oct 2019 my scores were in the mid 400s, now in May 2023 I just broke 800 on one of my scores and the others are mid to high 700s. I’ll have this App for the rest of my life. 100%

Update… I’ve been with Experian for years and now that they have changed the Premium membership to only include quarterly updates for the 3 different scores as opposed to the monthly updates that everyone loved… I no longer have the same love for the app or Experian in general. So I’ve downgraded my rating from 5 stars to 2 stars.
Instead I’ll pay a little more to MyFICO to keep my monthly updated and only use Experian on a free basic membership.
I even emailed them about my issue and just got a generic response.

too sloppy to justify its demand for subscription

I will never consider paying for an app that will send push notifications for a credit score change and only display that change within a tab after a boring, long infographic of your credit score over time. You don’t need to see this, however, because the home screen will just keep displaying your old one for weeks (months? who knows how much longer it will be). I also get notifications to see what caused the change and when I open the app and try to open the message it takes me nowhere.

I can’t conceive of a reason why I would fork over money to experience this annoying app with all 3 credit bureaus when it can’t even manage to display an accurate score from one of them on the main home screen of the app for heavens sake.

At this point in time I am more satisfied with the FICO credit check offered by my credit card app (for free) that does nothing more than show my score. It does what this app apparently places below their subscription sales pitch: provide up to date information on the main homepage with no annoying frills and shoehorned animations. It is frustrating how little this app needs to be acceptable and yet it somehow fails to meet them. How can you send push notifications asking me “have you checked your credit score recently?” and dump me to a homepage with month old info, making me seek out my current score if I do actually wish to check it?
