Please fix article notifications

I love the information and the articles that the app provides, especially in an (in my opinion) underserved market. The one QoL nuisance that I always run into though is a notification for an article. These never direct me to the article itself, and when I start looking for the article I want to read I sometimes can’t even find it. If you could please fix this to have notifications direct a reader directly to an article, that would be amazing. Thanks for an amazing app otherwise! It really keeps me connected to college hockey where I otherwise wouldn’t be.

Passable for an app that’s free

It’s a nice app when I’m watching my team at home or away games and I want to see score updates from around the same conference, but updates are FAR from real time, and on occasion don’t come through until later periods or even not at. It’s nice to see the RPI/PWR rankings, but being able to see the USCHO Poll would be great. Box Scores aren’t part of the free version, which is insane, especially considering it costs $2.99, but if you pay I guess you also get extended stats info, and a different view of scores from all over D1?

tl;dr
If you want inconsistent, slow and occasionally incorrect push notifications for one or a few teams, the free version is pretty alright. Can’t see any reason for wasting money on the premium version other than the box score but even then.

The live box score data comes from the individual schools. The accuracy and timeliness can vary wildly but is largely out of out hands. USCHO is a competitor to CHN so don’t expect to see their polls in the app. Besides, polls are meaningliness.

Seems to have been many performance issue this year...

I have used this app since it 1st came out. Every year I purchase the full functionality with game stats and details. This yr, for some reason, it has had many issues around performance and just up to date game data. Empty scores days after games complete, or even scores the day of the game. I find myself having to just go to Hockey East Online to get accurate game scores and details. I’m hoping the issue have just been related to the Covid issues with games and the app will be the outstanding app I’ve used for years prior.

Version 3.6.7 had an issue where the scoreboard wasn't getting updated. Other than that, there's new software in the rinks that some schools took longer to come to grips with and some games were canceled or postponed because of COVID. The app and all the backend scripts were rewritten this year. I knew that would be a bit rocky so Premium features were turned on for everyone until recently while the kinks were worked out. We appreciate your patronage and patience during this time, but things should be stable and more consistent now.
