On their self-titled sixth LP, they deftly integrate themselves back into the landscape they helped design by tweaking new sounds—ABBA-inspired throbbing disco beats (“Tower of Glass”); eerie, horror-film modular synths (“The Island”)—into their propulsive krautrock grooves.
