Re-Up Gang the Saga Continues

Re-Up Gang the Saga Continues

Best known for vivid narcotic-kingpin storytelling and extra-catchy Neptunes production, Clipse (Pusha T and Malice) debuted in 2002 with Lord Willin', featuring the hits "When the Last Time" and "Grindin'." Fast-forward a few years to when Clipse was caught up in various label issues (corporate mergers, lawsuits, etc.), and the two started Re-Up Gang (a spin-off group with Philly friends Ab-Liva and Sandman) and dropped a popular mixtape series called We Got It 4 Cheap. On The Saga Continues, they do what they do best: rhyming mostly about bulk powder purchases and sales, high-end European sports cars, white girls, diamond-encrusted watches, and the like. The beats are outstanding as usual, with slick compositions that perfectly complement the Gang's high-life wordplay. Standouts include "Ultimate Flow," "P*ssy," and "Stay Away from Around Me."
