TunaPark

TunaPark

Taking a cue from hip-hop forebearer Nechi Nech, Tuna throws listeners into a creepy carnival of stuttering live drums, glowing guitars and tumbling, jazz-flecked beats. His second album, TunaPark, named after popular retro Tel Aviv theme park Luna Park, finds the MC at his peak as he continuously generates memorable rhymes. Opener "Avudim Bahalal" fades in on a cloud of pianos and classic hip-hop drums before the vocals of Yemenite-Israeli trio A-WA flutter through the speakers. It's an otherworldly start to a fluid stream of creativity.
