The Destination Truth team travels to the Great Wall of China to investigate reports of ghostly encounters with soldiers and over a million people that have died in the shadows of one of the world’s most recognizable icons. Josh and the crew battle the elements and the challenges of scaling an ancient monument. Bobby and Rex retain some startling findings during an EVP session that shock the team. Josh has his first physical encounter with an unseen entity, of which he brings footage back to the Ghost Hunters to examine. Next up, the team heads to Tel Aviv and surrounding coastal cities to explore the reports of mermaids in the Mediterranean. There is a one million dollar reward to be able to prove the existence of the mythological creature. However, rough waters and poor visibility make it a dangerous dive. Once the crew recovers from some early miscues, some rest and a good sense of humor seem to help their luck and spirits. A night dive proves to give the most encouraging signs in their pursuit of these Sirens of the sea.

The Destination Truth team travels stateside in order to investigate one of the oldest legendary creatures in the country. For over 300 years, people on the eastern seaboard have been telling the tale of the infamous and frightening Jersey Devil that lurks over the heavily forested Pine Barrens in the Garden State. Josh and the crew talk to eyewitnesses and are given what are believed to be biological remains of what is described as a massive, red-eyed beast with a wingspan of over ten feet. With the help of the Ghost Hunters’ Kris Williams, they organize the first-ever aerial investigation to see for themselves if they can piece this puzzle together. Next, the team heads to China in search of what is believed to be the cousin of Bigfoot. Known to the locals as the Yeren, or Wildman, the search for this mammoth man has become the first and only government-sanctioned search in the world. With claims of footprints and hair samples from the of the 8-foot tall creature as their starting point, Josh and his team search the tourist-restricted Stone Forest in search of a monster that reportedly is prone to attacking humans. Their goal: to search the mountains and caves to be the first to provide photographic proof of the behemoth that is as big as its legend.

The Destination Truth team heads to an abandoned mining town in northern Chile to investigate leads of its haunting history. Believed to have one of the scariest cemeteries on Earth, the town is said to have the dead rise from their graves at night and walk back into the city, where most of the locals have had some sort of paranormal encounter. These suffering energies are traced back by many to the poor treatment of the workers from the mine akin to slavery as the mining barons profited from their suffering. Warehouse 13’s Allison Scagliotti joins the crew in a special guest appearance.Next on the itinerary, Josh and his crew take a trip to Northern New Zealand to explore the claims of a dangerous aquatic creature in the volcanic lakes. Known as the Taniwha, this ten-foot, milky white-skinned beast is believed to be both protector of its habitat and destroyer of all that crosses its path. As the Truth team begins its search for the serpentine water creature but without knowing what it is exactly, locals only warn that it should be feared. After a meeting with the Maori tribe, many more sightings by the tribes people shines a light on possible locations known to be sacred to the tribe. Will the tribe’s spiritual union with nature put the people of New Zealand at ease or give a whole new meaning to the Shaky Isles?

The Destination Truth team makes their way to the beautiful city of Petra, Jordan, where they explore sightings of what the locals call Djinns: ghosts that are believed to possess humans and live in the dark recesses of ancient burial chambers. Josh and the crew attempt to make sense of all the paranormal encounters in the Treasury Tomb that has become a symbol of the mysterious, ancient city. Ghost Hunters’ Jason and Grant are enlisted to help analyze the results, some of the clearest audio evidence the team has captured yet. Next, the team heads to Bishopville, South Carolina to investigate a complaint from the townspeople that a monster - known as the Lizard Man - is on the loose terrorizing the town’s residents and their vehicles.

The crew heads down to Easter Island to conduct the world’s most remote paranormal investigation. Before the investigation even begins, the team must go on a journey to be accepted by the island’s spirits. If successful, they will gain access to the 800 scattered throughout the island. Eerie shadows and voices give Josh and company pause, as they will be tested by the leaders of years gone by. Next up for the team is a trip back to New Zealand to explore the claims of the return of the Moa. First considered extinct in the late 1500’s, these massive birds are the largest flightless birds in history. Vicious and powerful, these large creatures have reportedly been spotted throughout southern New Zealand. Bones, feathers, and large prints help them inch closer to a big re-discovery. It’s not all serious business though: Josh and Ryder wager a bet as to whether or not she can capture a sheep on the majestic foothills along the way.

A brand new season of Destination Truth begins in Naples, Italy, where Josh and his team set out on a bold adventure to conduct the world’s first paranormal investigation of the legendary city of Pompeii. Workers and tourists are revealing shocking claims of hearing disembodied voices and witnessing startling apparitions. After a night of chilling investigation, the team receives some help from the Ghost Hunters to review their astonishing footage. Then, the crew heads to Africa to investigate claims of a monstrous animal that has a taste for human flesh. With lasers, cameras, and trackers in place, the team ventures deep into the dangerous African jungle in search of The Nandi Beast.

In the latest episode of Destination Truth, Josh and the team head to Cambodia to see what’s lurking within the 800 year old temple of Angkor Wat. With many locals having had violent encounters with apparitions, Josh and the crew make an offering to the gods to evoke the evil spirits and get some shocking results. Then the team turns to Canada to investigate the legend of Ogopogo, a huge dragon like creature said to dwell within the waters of Lake Okanagan. Thousands of people clam to have seen the beast over the years and now the crew looks to find some solid evidence of its existence. Using the latest submersible technology, Josh and the team dive into the deep murky waters to discover the truth about this mysterious creature and have some truly startling encounters.

Josh and the team travel to Haboro, Japan, an abandoned mining town on the northern island of Hokkaido. Rotting vestiges are all that remain as they check out the alleged home of the ghostly miners. Facing freezing temperatures and a near impossible journey to this uncharted terrain, the crew faces not only paranormal activity, but a bear threat as well! Upon their return, they will collaborate with the Ghost Hunters to make sense of their findings. Next, they head to Tanzania, where tribal warriors fear the mysterious "Mingwa" beast, an elusive creature believed to possess a most deadly combination of predatory skills. The team surveys the savanna and has some close calls. Between fresh animal tracks, gory carcasses and eerie eyes in the distance, they find that, in a land of predators, man is not welcome.

On this episode of Destination Truth, Josh and the team travel to Micronesia in what will be the world’s first underwater paranormal investigation. Their undersea exploration will focus on the Truk Lagoon off the Chuuk islands; for, it was here that a Japanese naval base was attacked during WWII, sending hundreds of planes and ships to the bottom of the Pacific. Between the 3,000 Japanese casualties, decaying military equipment, and the ghostly rumblings of engines at the bottom of the ocean, the team is in for what is sure to be an underwater adventure. Next, the crew heads to Tono, Japan to seek out the elusive "Kappa," a mythical sea monster that is both feared and revered among townspeople. Scouring the Kappa-Buchi River for this legendary creature, the team is in for a few scares along the way. It is up to them alone to discover the truth!
