Available as the bonus to the 20th-anniversary deluxe edition of Far Beyond Driven, Far Beyond Bootleg—Live from Donington ’94 contains Pantera’s entire live set recorded at the Monsters of Rock Festival in Donington, England, on June 4, 1994. The 40-minute show features nine songs that appeared on their three most recent albums at that time, in arguably their purest form. Though Pantera’s albums are often considered the gold standard of ‘90s metal, the band's live performances rank among the most intense experiences of an intense decade. Leader Phil Anselmo wasn’t one for taking it easy or pacing himself through a set. He screams with uncompromising intent from the first tune to the last, backed by a band of professionals who achieved their own mythic standing. (This was made clear in the aftermath of the 2004 murder of Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell.)
