Carl Palmer

About Carl Palmer

Carl Palmer was the best-known drummer in progressive rock in the late 1960s and early '70s, principally by virtue of his work with Emerson, Lake & Palmer, although he's had successes in other contexts as well. He worked with the Crazy World of Arthur Brown and Atomic Rooster before joining ELP, and after they parted ways, he found new stardom in the '80s with the prog supergroup Asia.
