CJSS

About CJSS

A Cincinnati, Ohio foursome whose existence paralleled that of the better known heavy metal band Chastain, CJSS was formed by guitarist David T. Chastain, with vocalist Russell Jinkens, bassist Mike Skimmerhorn and drummer Les Sharp in 1984, going on to release a pair of albums two years later named World gone Mad (January '86) and Praise the Loud (October). However, his other project's greater success soon led Chastain to lose interest in CJSS, which never officially disbanded, but also failed to release any material outside of a couple of best of retrospectives. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
