About S.H.E

Mandopop trio S.H.E. is one of Taiwan’s definitive girl groups. ∙ After gaining attention with their 2001 debut, Girl’s Dorm, S.H.E. went on to release 10 consecutive Top 10 albums in Taiwan and to sell more than 12 million records. ∙ The group’s 2001 cover of “Brown Eyes” by Destiny’s Child was ranked at No. 3 on Hit FM Taiwan’s list of the Top 100 Singles of the Year. ∙ The trio starred in multiple TV shows, and their 2003 series, The Rose, won Most Popular Drama of the Year honors at the Golden Bell Awards (considered Taiwan’s Emmys). ∙ One of their biggest hits, 2005’s “Don’t Wanna Grow Up,” was adapted from Mozart’s Symphony No. 40. ∙ Due to the trio’s fame, “the next S.H.E.” became a common term in Taiwanese music to describe up-and-coming pop groups. ∙ To celebrate their 15th anniversary, they returned from hiatus with the 2016 EP Irreplaceable, which was Taiwan’s fourth-best-selling album of the year.
