Description

Reduce shaking in the video and stabilize it. The videos taken from phone or camera shake many times because either the hands shake during the recording or we take the video while walking, or travelling in a vehicle. Watching such videos becomes difficult because of unwanted movements and jerks in them.

Using the application such unwanted shakes could be reduced to a great extent and the videos could be made more watchable. In other words, the application could stabilize the videos and make them more appealing.

Using the application, even hundreds of videos could be stabilized.Just drag and drop the videos to the application and click on the "Stabilize" button.

The videos will be stabilized and saved to a folder of choice.

Note :
a) The app works best for the videos that are shot outdoors. It is not recommended to use it to stabilise the videos that are recorded indoors or at a close range.
b) For Videos having HEVC video format, please make sure that the option "Optimise video to prevent play errors" is checked.

What’s New

Version 2.1

- Now the application is a Universal application with support for Apple Silicon.
- We have also fixed an issue which caused video recorded using iPhone 11 Pro not to play properly on QuickTIme after stabilisation. For such videos having HEVC video format, please make sure that the option "Optimise video to prevent play errors" is checked.
- We have improved the Quality of the output videos. Now the stabilised videos will be of even better quality.

No quality settings - output video quality was very bad

Aside from not being accurate on how much video it was processing (it processed 340 mb of a 94 mb video) - there were no quality settings, and the output video was so pixelated I would never use it. Would like a refund.

Developer Response ,

The processing phase could show more date in mb because there are multiple passes that a video goes through in the process. Also, the stabilised video could be of greater size because of the additional processing that is done to make it stabilised. Also, we see that you had issue with video quality. The issue of video quality now fixed. We have released a new Version 2.1 of the application which will now create good quality stabilised videos. In this version, please make sure to check the box named "Optimise video to Prevent play errors". After this. please stabilise the video using the application. This will resolve your issue. Please change your rating and review since the issue is now resolved.

This app is limited. But easy for 1 clip.

Of course not all camera shake is possible to stabilize. But for very minor shaking this app should improve the footage. It's definately helped a few of my videos. And i find it way more convienient than opening Final Cut, importing/exporting just for a single clip. Which is what i was looking for. However this app could be greatly improved. The biggest flaw for me is the lack of settings and options. The only options allowed is process speed. You can choose between a few different speeds from Fastest to Slowest and thats it. The info says the speed affects the level of stabilization and file size. The slower the better and smaller. Theres no pre-export preview or adjustments for crop or file type, naming or anything else. I've used iOS apps that had more options. Like adjustment level of stablization with a live preview so you can see the amount of crop and smoothing before you export. (iOS App is called DeShake) So for this paid Mac OS app, i expected more. However, its not all bad. I do like the batch feature for processing multiple clips. In the end, theres not many options for stabilizers in the Mac App Store and its less of a hassle than a big program like Final cut or Pr. This app is limited, but i still find myself using it.
