Description
The AmbiLauncher application allows you to launch applications by moving the pointer quickly to the left or right edges of the screen and back. Now, you don't need to remember the key combinations for each application or aim at any buttons. You don't even need to take your finger off the touch panel or lift your hand from the mouse.
The screen boundaries are divided into sections of different colors. One quick movement of the cursor to each section of the screen and back launches the application. You can edit the color, size, and position of the sections. The assigning of applications to each of the sections is done in accordance with the applications' names.
You can also edit the width of the sections on the screen border and their transparency. When the cursor stays near the screen borders for a long time, the sections disappear and don't interfere with pressing buttons, scrolling or watching the video in full-screen mode.
Launching applications with AmbiLauncher is now fast and simple.

Good utility for those using only 1 display, betting better with each update!
The native applescript support is great! the v1.2 update really matured this tool.
This is a very useful utility… unless you have multiple displays. Please support multiple displays in a future update.
In the current version you CAN'T move the "hot edges" to a display other than your main one, and given that your mouse falls through the hot-edges of the main display to get to the second display connected to your cpu, you end up triggering the wrong thing at the wrong time, or causing multiple trigger events. This is a VERY broken feature for those using multiple displays. Please allow for the user to choose which displays the hot-egdges are on. Until then I cant use this app at all; and all other "power users" with multiple connected displays should be wary of this current caveat.
Best app I have ever purchased!
I use this application to open other applicaiton and to quickly jump to folders that I need to access very frequently. Without this app I would have to click on the finder app and click on the quick access bar, but with this any folder is a swipe away. I have the boundaries to be very transparent black and white which I cannot even see. I know where they are and they do not clutter the screen. Over all the best and most useful app I have purchased. If you are considering this I would highly recommend it.

Useless
I bought this app and it never worked. I contacted the developer who replied quickly. He informed me that his App only works on a single monitor setup. I use 2 monitors always and I was not about to change. This app is being sold without a warning for those who use more than a single monitor. A waste of time and money. Now to get my refund...
