The characters were very endearing and yet complex! I enjoyed seeing their progression, while being frustrated that it seemed to take Joss longer to see that togetherness was preferable to making decisions on his own!
Romance is real, and it is sweet!
It is very rare that a romance novel truly really makes me believe in love. Call me cynical (it’s probably true,) but this novel broke through the walls and made me feel warm from beginning to end. The characters are real, and full of depth. They’re very easy to relate to, which is an even greater pleasure knowing that they easily could have slipped into gushing stereotypes. Even the love scenes are more about the details of the characters and their emotions rather than the act. Beautiful and well crafted, from the first page to the last!
