Dutch singer Tim Douwsma was born in Drachten, Friesland, Netherlands on November 4, 1987. His career as a singer in the public eye began when he was a contestant during the 2007 season of the television show So You Wanna Be a Popstar, and although he finished fifth, he recorded his debut single, "Wil Je bij Me Blijven Slapen Op," at the end of that year and it rose to number 18 on the Dutch pop charts. ~ Steve Leggett
