About K:ream

Switzerland's K'REAM is a soulful vocalist, songwriter, and producer known for his R&B and hip-hop-tinged pop. Born to parents of Swiss, Indian, and Iranian heritage, K'REAM was a star basketball player in his youth and played for the University of Menasha in Wisconsin before embarking on his performance career. While at Menasha, he joined the school choir. Encouraged by his choir director, K'REAM started writing and performing his own music, drawing upon such artists as Michael Jackson, Prince, D'Angelo, and others. He eventually returned to Switzerland, where he garnered attention with cuts like "Crossroad," "Drip Drop," and "Sex Appeal." He also flexed his performance muscles during this time, appearing on-stage in a production of Godspell and co-writing and producing the musical Conflict, a modern reworking of Westside Story. When not performing, K'REAM produces music at his own Geneva-based Hook A Land studios. ~ Matt Collar
