About HEIZE

The perfect artist for gloomy, dreamy days, South Korean singer HEIZE is known for her poignant, sometimes witty performance style. • Her material runs the gamut from wispy ballads to acid jazz and playful rap. • The stage name HEIZE means “to make something hot” in German. • HEIZE released her self-titled debut EP in 2014 and garnered more fame with her appearance on the competition show Unpretty Rapstar 2 in 2015. • She broke out in 2016 with a series of singles including “Star,” “And July,” and “Shut Up & Groove”—the latter two featuring South Korean R&B singer Dean. • In 2019, HEIZE teamed up with rapper Giriboy to perform the alt-R&B tune “We Don’t Talk Together,” produced by Suga of BTS.
