About Flower

J-pop girl group Flower formed in 2009 and two years later merged into the 11-member collective E-Girls, one of the most popular Japanese girl groups of the mid-2000s. ∙ Flower’s first single, “Still,” debuted at No. 5 on the Japanese charts, and all three of their studio albums have reached the Top 10. ∙ Their version of “Tomorrow” from the Broadway musical Annie—“TOMORROW~Shiawase no Housoku~”—was the theme song for the 2014 Japanese live-action movie remake. ∙ Singer Reina Washio made her voice-acting debut in the anime series The Kindaichi Case Files, for which Flower provided the theme song, “Hitomi No Oku No Milkyway.” ∙ A chance backstage meeting with British girl group Little Mix resulted in their joint single “Dreamin’ Together,” which was nominated for Best Collaboration at 2015’s MTV Video Music Awards Japan.
