Paste Plain Text 4+

I’m constantly moving data and text between MS Office apps or for web content. Having to strip-out formatting was just another hassle be it “Paste Special” (extra mouse-clicking) or pasting into another text app only having to re-copy and paste somewhere else. This little goodie does exactly what I was hoping it would do - copy formatted text or data (i.e. from a website (html) or Excel spreadsheet) and when pasted - plain text. Period. If I want to copy and paste with formatting - I simply quit the Paste Plain Text app.
What would be nice if there was a right-mouse click option where I could opt to paste formatted text/data without having to quit the app.

It turns out that being able to clear out the style of any text I select from a web page or Word document (or whatever) in order to paste it into another document is extremely handy!

The app works flawlessly, and enables you to set it such that it will clear out the style of what you copy to the clipboard by default or do it manually by accessing the app itself, so it can work for any type of scenario.

It sounds minor, but turns out this capability makes things much simpler for anyone who does a lot of cut-and-paste with text

Been using this app for a few years now to strip hidden styling in copy supplied via Word. Love the "automatically remove" option. Now that I'm on Big Sur, I have noticed a small issue though—the menu bar icon doesn't invert properly with you have a dark wallpaper. Doesn't really affect functionality, other than having to aim for the (seemingly) blank space in my menu bar...
