About Joan Regan
A popular singer in the UK during the 1950s and early '60s, Joan Regan made her Top 10 debut with "Ricochet" in 1953. A string of hits followed, and Regan appeared in several shows at the London Palladium. In 1984, she was left paralysed and speechless following a brain hemorrhage. Her recovery was aided by miming to her old records and, in 1987, she returned to the stage in the company of Russ Conway.
