He was also one-half of the popular duo Tungevaag and Raaban. • The artist born Martin Tungevaag broke through with his 2014 debut single, “Wicked Wonderland,” which was a Top 10 hit in more than a half-dozen countries, including Norway. • He returned to the Top 10 the following year with “Samsarra 2015,” a collaboration with Swedish DJ and producer Raaban. The song was an inter-Scandinavian hit, reaching No. 2 in Norway, No. 4 in Sweden, and No. 1 in Finland. • Tungevaag & Raaban released more than a dozen singles from 2015 to 2019, when they announced the end of the duo. • He teamed with Norwegian producer K-391, English Norwegian producer DJ Alan Walker, and Swedish producer Mangoo on the 2019 single “Play,” a remake of Mangoo’s 2000 hit “Eurodancer.” The new version hit No. 2 in Norway.
