Among the most commercially successful acts of the '90s—and the second best-selling "girl group" after The Spice Girls—TLC sold a zillion records, had a grip of hits, influenced countless other artists, and endured an insane amount of personal and professional turmoil. Though the trio only released four albums between 1992 and 2002, they've sold more than 60 million units worldwide and won several GRAMMY Awards. Combining hip-hop, R&B, new jack swing, relentlessly sassy attitudes, game-changing fashion, and choice production from Dallas Austin, Babyface, Jermaine Dupri, and Puff Daddy, they created a distinct radio-ready sound with a modern feminist vibe that made them heroes to an entire generation of girls. Since Left Eye's death in 2002, T-Boz and Chilli have been relatively quiet, but they continue to perform occasionally. They've also embarked on a few new recordings and several reality-TV projects. This compilation includes all of TLC's essential singles—"Waterfalls," "Ain't Too Proud to Beg," "Creep," "No Scrubs," and more—plus the brand-new, Ne Yo–produced "Meant to Be."
