About Delta Cross Band

Led by pianist/guitarist/vocalist Troels Jensen, the Delta Cross Band brought the electrifying sounds of contemporary blues and modern American folk to Denmark during the 1980s. Formed in the late '60s, as the Delta Blues Band or Delta, the Delta Cross Band was one of the few bands to record the obscure Dylan tune "Legionnaire's Disease," which appeared on their 1981 album, Up Front. Although they released a second impressive album, Tough Times, in 1991, the group's frustration at not breaking into the international market led them to disband. Jensen surfaced a decade later when he collaborated with Danish bluesman H.P. Lange. ~ Craig Harris
