Peggy Gou is a South Korean DJ, house music producer, fashion designer, and record label founder whom The Guardian called “the world’s hippest DJ.” • Peggy grew up in Incheon, South Korea, before moving with her family to London when she was 14. • While attending the London College of fashion, she began DJing at local clubs. She soon progressed to producing her own music, and in 2016, she offered four releases across four different labels, including Technicolour and Ninja Tune. • Gou’s 2019 single “Starry Night” blends pulsing house beats with vocals in English and Korean. The self-released track has garnered tens of millions of streams. • She founded the label Gudu Records with the goal of promoting female Asian artists. • In 2019, she launched her Kirin clothing line after connecting with Louis Vuitton creative director Virgil Abloh.
