About Lettuce

Utilizing hip-hop, jazz, New Orleans R&B, blues, and rock in their gumbo, New York-based Lettuce update the sound of classic '70s funk. The band's debut long-player, Outta Here, was released on their tenth anniversary in 2002. They continued to tour the globe and work on side and joint projects for another six years before Rage! appeared on Velour. Two decades after they began, the group entered the jazz album charts with 2012's Fly, and three years later they topped them with Crush. After 2017's Witches Stew, a live tribute to Miles Davis, Lettuce earned a Grammy nomination for 2020's Resonate. The band's eighth album, Unify, appeared in 2022.
