It's safe to say 2018 has been good to Godless. In August, the Indian metal band trekked to Germany's Wacken Open Air festival, a holy ground for all things metal. They close the year with their second EP, Swarm, a clash of death metal and thrash and grind influences. Thematically, they build an atmosphere of what vocalist Kaushal LS has called "cosmic horror”. He growls about zombie attacks ("Infected by the Black") and creatures from other realms ("From Beyond"), and the band sounds precise and unsparing.
