Danny and Kathy take a delayed honeymoon in Las Vegas; however, Danny draws the family's ire by entertaining spontaneous crowds against his pledge that this would be a `non-working' holiday.

Kathy must find a way to explain that she will be taking over the running of the house, after Terry has run around in the wake of her mother's death.

Danny's Uncle Tonoose comes to town to meet his new niece-by-marriage, Kathy. However, his visit is actually an inspection to determine whether or not she will be `officially accepted' into the family.

Terry must decide between asking Dinah Shore or Kathy to sing at a fundraiser at her school. Terry does not want to hurt Kathy's feelings, but she would rather ask the popular singer, Dinah Shore.

Rusty tells Linda that he can convince his parents to do and get anything he wants, which works -- until they catch on to his game.

Danny and Kathy are told they are an old established couple who are content to stay at home and relax, so they decide to show everyone that they can be just as active as other couples.
