for dyslexics by dyslexics

Has really helped me understand the variety in how dyslexia manifests in people. I also appreciate how this podcast touches both on the practical strategies for navigating challenges dyslexics may face, but also on the emotional aspects. So much dyslexia coverage I’ve seen is focused primarily on school and academia and for parents of dyslexic children. I feel like this podcast helps fill some gaps in discussing the careers/work lives of dyslexics, mental health, and in sharing the firsthand journeys of folks navigating dyslexia over time. Thanks for such rich and accessible content!

Best dyslexic podcast? Nope

Sean claimed in one of the podcasts that I was listening to that this is one of the best dyslexic podcasts out there but I have to contest that. I don’t know how many podcasts Sean listens to, regarding dyslexia or other topics. I listen to a lot. I don’t care if this podcast was nominated for some award that it did not win. This IS one of the best podcasts out there. The production quality is amazing and I mean something that passes for BBC level. Then there is the theme music, while the intro is really hip and trendy, the exit song would have me listening to this podcast. Then there is the content. I keep writing Sean but mate I am sorry if it’s Shawn. Sean asks great questions and really does a good job of keeping a balance between the emotional side of dyslexia and the great stories of peoples’ lives. It looks like the Codpast is no longer a going concern and as I keep edging toward the final episode I think about how much I will miss this flash of brilliance in my commute home. Sean orShawn, all the best. Keep up the great work. And to my people out there, don’t give up. Show them what you are made of - pure gold. And when they ask you to swim up the tree, don’t be sad. But show them your amazing ability to swim, because they cannot even imagine what you are capable of.
