Different way of telling the story of a young women’s grief but worth reading

This book portrayed how I can only imagine it would feel to lose a partner. It felt honest and transparent. It didn’t shy away from the dark parts. The pace of the story felt right. As a reader I really did feel on edge as to where the story was going to take me. I was keen to keep reading to find out and at times I felt quite nervous 😬. Josie Silver really has a lovely way of cutting through really tense moments with unexpected laugh out loud humour. I really enjoyed this book! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
one of the best books i've read
i love how realistic this book is. the way the author has made the book flow between worlds without confusing the reader. and still capturing us whilst doing it. i love how it touches on reality, friendship and i'm sure it has related to a lot of people as well as it has me. i am sure i will never read another book like it. it's captured the life of lydia with just words and it almost feels as if i know her in real life, that's how well the author has illustrated her.
