Lilbeak ,

Histories of the Mayans

Excellent. Educational and interesting to read observations from the mid-1800's. more information has since been found and more is now known as they have improved the interpretation of the hieroglyphics, but it was interesting to see what they knew at that time.

Not about the Maya

A useful book of history about the men who discovered and studied the Maya, but very little about the Maya themselves.
