Pleasant, but not spectacular
A nice tale for what feels like a first effort by a young author. The characters are interesting, but the awkward prose make them feel like actors in a high school play. The world reads like a D&D setting, but at least hints at deeper themes. Here's hoping the story (and the author) grow into their full potential.
