Publisher Description
Just fifteen years from now, the world is polarised along ethnic and religious lines. Regional low-intenstiry wars have now been raging for thirty-five years.
In the midst of the conflict, ninety-seven members of the Allied forces 9th Mountain Squadron enroute from the Northern Front for a long awaited period of rest and relaxation, are shot down over the Nordic wilderness.
With no way of communicating with the outside world, the aircraft’s captain, Natasha Kavolsky, and the squadron commander, Major Alexander Burton, lead the squadron out of the wilderness only to discover that during their absence the world they knew has ceased to exist.
This is a story of comradeship, hope and despair set in a world that is even now a real and terrifying possibility.

It sucked me and I couldn’t put it down till I was done
Read it. Was a great book. Not as in depth as a TC like Red Strm Rising. But certainly one that I could get very much into and imagine being “in the movie”.
Great action sequences and pretty good “in between” scenes. I think this would be one heck of a movie. Hope there is a film project in the discussion.
I would certainly watch/purchase on Vudu/Apple TV! Thanks for the great read. Any thoughts on a prologue or post event followup book?

Awesome book
Excellent Find
Awesome book that I could not put down. Realistic scenario played out in scary detail. Lots of characters you get attached to. Look forward to more work from this author and would love to see a sequel.
