APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Knife is the shocking, provocative 12th book in Jo Nesbø’s famed Harry Hole series. The troubled police detective learns about a murder case close to his heart, leading him to spiral out of control–again. Nesbø has always been a master of character building, and here he takes us even further, depicting Hole as menacing and cruel as he battles his inner demons. The whole series has become a must-read for Scandi crime-noir lovers, but Knife is especially dark and chilling, and will haunt readers long after they have read the final pages.
Customer Reviews
The Knife
Didn't guess right who had done it.
Didn't quite get the end.
Intriguing story of love, selfishness, tenacity, frailty and human cruelty.
Stunning as always
But...... the best yet
Knife
Mixed emotions about this book. Found it incredibly hard to get into, unlike another Nesbo’s previous Harry Hole books, this felt different ? Ghost writer . That being said, after a slow burner start, it gathered pace and came to a bizarre conclusion . Without giving away the plot, Nesbo has presses Harry’s self destruct button not only with the characters but the plot. Not the best, far too long, with too many confusing side plots. Perhaps Harry has reached the end of the road.
