About The Fold

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My older brother Dan (lead singer) invited me to go to a punk show at the YMCA. It was my first show and I knew right away that this was what I wanted to do for my career. 25 years later, we are making music TOGETHER and inspiring a new generation. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bad Religion, No Control Green Day, Dookie Guns N' Roses, Appetite for Destruction These are all informative albums in our journey. Appetite For Destruction displayed the epitome of rock superstardom. Dookie was part of our musical DNA from day one. No Control has a message of yearning for the truth that inspires our songwriting. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lego Ninjago Weekend Whip (Instrumental) (The Christmas Whip)” This is a song that has reached multiple generations all over the world. It has brought light to many "childhoods" as we have been told time and time again. It was our honor to play this song and work with LEGO for more than a decade on LEGO Ninjago. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2016, we wrote a song for WGN & the Chicago Cubs called "Let the Games Begin." It was first used during the Crosstown Classic, then was repurposed for playoff ad featuring major celebrities and aired all the way to their World Series Victory! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes we want to keep bringing our music to the fans we've built over the past 12 years and become the BIGGEST band in the world. We have an infinite amount of energy for what we do and being brothers and lifelong friends, were just getting started!
