Well….
The leading man is a rapist, who blames his actions on alcohol and him being angry. He constantly belittles the woman that loves him. Body shames her through out the entire book. I mean through out the entire story. If you can get past all of that then read it.
Hero is a rapist
One star is required. MY TRUE STAR RATING IS ZERO. This isn't romance. It is rape. Forceful, inconsiderate, womanizers who consistently belittle the female race do not inspire romance and certainly not love! The heroine is young and inexperienced and is, without question, suffering from serious spousal abuse. Unfortunately, she doesn't stab him in his sleep! AMAZINGLY she falls in love with this pig who rapes her, has raped others, mistrusts her to a debilitating degree and overall treats her horribly throughout every page except the last 5 or so. How is that even possible in a "romance" novel?
