Escalation is a downward spiral.

A nuclear armageddon is no one’s dream scenario. So choose your steps carefully, it’s a small path between war and peace. FIRST STRIKE is a great strategy simulation featuring snappy gameplay and an intuitive interface that makes dropping the big one as easy as ABC. But be sure to take the right measures to guarantee your people’s safety.

Pick one of the big nuclear players – from known Superpowers to an upstart hellraiser like North Korea – and plan your strategy wisely: Limited but clever options let you as the leader of your superpower steer your nation’s fate: Expand to other countries, build bombs or debuild in order to restructure your arsenal. Or use research to widen your options, such as: Ability to act quicker and build bigger bombs, better recon on your enemies actions, automated self-defense-sequences and many more.

Whether you’re a bloodthirsty warmonger or a tree-hugging hippie – it’s time to put your cards on the table. A quick and fun game with beautiful graphics, FIRST STRIKE shows you how little it takes to heat things up. With the tip of your finger you can control the destiny of the precious and vulnerable rock floating through space, the rock we call mothership Earth.

Bugged on hard core

So I set it on hard core playing as the U.S. after I shot the last nuke on the last enemy territory the game sort of froze in place. I could see everything and even attack I just couldn’t rotate the globe. So I turned it off and reopened it. It let me rotate the globe but there was no one on the map but me as the U.S. and now I don’t get to claim my victory...:( please fix this. It’s a great game I would love to see some expansions as well. Potentially the ability to actually cause damage to the earth itself? Maybe ground troops to invade nearby countries? There’s a lot of potential

Fantastic game to spend 15 minutes on.. or hours.

Love this game, but wanted to let the dev know I encountered a strange bug. I was playing as North Korea trying to get the Oceania achievement and I had captured every single territory on the map except the final piece of Australia, which was held by what was left of China. So I used my infiltrators to take that spot, it froze for a second, said I unlocked Australia, then was just locked in place. I could fire missiles, use powers, and see that everyone was dead in the diplomacy menu, but I couldn’t move the globe and it wouldn’t say I won. I quit and loaded the save, then it said I unlocked Israel and I could spin the globe, but it still didn’t give me the “You Won” screen, instead I was just able to look around and fire missiles and stuff.

It still gave me the rewards in the menu and said I had beaten it with N.Korea, but I just thought it was a strange bug.

Really good game. Online play available?

This is a complex game that is easy and fun to play. I love games like these, where you learn from your mistakes in order to get better next time. I figured out a strategy early on in the game when I lost every match: create pacts first, expand, research with land locked nations, build cruisers until you obtain your super weapons. Once you obtain your super weapons, shift to a more aggressive stance and start your attack! I’m sure others have figured out their own way of success. If I were to make a suggestion, please make online gameplay available or maybe create different modes like team death match, scenarios(build as much nukes before an asteroid hits) etc. really fun concept, really fun game.
