Great MOOC and great video textbook!
I took the Statistical Analysis of fMRI Data MOOC presented by Martin Linquist at John Hopkins University and really enjoyed/recommend it. Dr Lindquist has just published an "iBook" textbook for this course and it includes each of the video lectures from the MOOC plus other materials. This "textbook" is downloadable (1.36gb) and viewable using iBooks on a Mac or iPad and is available from iTunes for less than $5. What a good deal! If you can’t take the MOOC; don’t know enough about “R” to run the fun computer programs analyzing human brain scans; etc., you miss the chance to participate in lively and helpful Discussion Forums … but this video text is the next best thing!
