I am a review GOD ,

Needs to fix bugged dead zones!

I love love this game and grew up playing it on Xbox, while it’s great to have on my phone ( and I do have an older gen IOS 8) my game won’t go past a certain point on :Soon to be Brewery, and it’s frustrating! I was able to beat it once. I’m not sure why the game won’t let me pass these deadzones but I can’t say how many times previously it has crashed when I enter a random spot and I either need to avoid it or start two levels back. It’s frustrating because you have to always save to make sure that you don’t have to lose all your progress.

Great Game, Poor Port

Let me start by saying this game is incredible, Munch’s Oddysee was one of my favorite games on the original Xbox and when I found out there was an iPhone port, I had to play.

I first downloaded it about a year ago and it played incredibly. Beat it in its entirety and had no complaints. I then got a new phone and with that, the game was deleted.

I redownloaded it yesterday hoping to play it again only to find some pretty severe bugs. The controls are almost unusable. I wish I could upload a picture of my screen. Instead of the intuitive controls, what appears is a jumble of the iPhone controls and even some Xbox options (X/Y button)? I have no idea what’s going on but I can’t even pass the first level with the controls like this... I don’t know what patch caused this, all I know is it did a lot more harm than good. Hope to see some improvements soon and I will update my review once those changes happen!

Mr.PacGuy ,

Amazing port!

I played this so much as a kid and seeing this on the AppStore made my day. This is an amazing port of the timeless classic and I couldn't be more impressed! Not only does it feel just like playing the original, but the better graphics makes it that much better. The controls are spot on, and it makes me even more glad to have the ability to customize the control layout. Everything about this game is perfect.

Pros:
-basically everything.

Nitpicks:
-The audio settings seem too limited. There are times where I can't hear the characters speak because of the background noise, and I can't do anything to change that. There should be an option to change only the volume of the voices in the game.
-The game doesn't automatically save inbetween levels. I lost and hour and a half worth of progress because my phone died and I forgot to save. It kind of sucked tbh.
-There are a few times where the frame rate goes down. This is usually when a lot is happening on screen, so it is understandable (and it happened on the original, too).

Conclusion: This is absolutely a perfect port for the perfect game. A must have for every gamer.
