Agreed, too dark visually
I agree with others who have said that the scenes are too dark to truly enjoy the game. I find myself getting tense as I try to see the puzzles. Brighten up the background and this would be a much better experience.
Not the best or the worst
Good music and atmosphere and plot that doesn't go overboard with too much video story. I like the other character. but I agree Its very dark and hard to see. Also having some annoyance where you have to use the correct inventory over and over until it work which is frustrating. I find only the Elephant games are 100% on that. I liked it enough to unlock so hope it continues to be enjoyable and I don't over play because when inventory doesn't work I stop playing for the night.
Changed my mind
I gave this 5 stars before I had played much of it. It got bleak and screens were dark and I began to not care what my goal was. I do like the games with more interesting characters and critters are a big thing for me. I am playing this but not with much joy. However all the Big Fish games are far better in General than the others so maybe I am nitpicking. Hope to see Elf roll around soon and games where I can amass points to buy things for rooms or for Elf. Or any games with critter helpers.
