Description

With FuzzyTime you get a simple, human readable clock in your menubar, that can be used instead of your computer's built in clock. Instead of 16:40, you would see "twenty to five".

Why would you want this? Apart from being a new fun way to display time (especially with language options like "Bork Bork" or "Jive") it can also be a great way to reduce stress. FuzzyTime only updates every five minutes, which makes you less likely to worry about minutes ticking away and not getting your work done, but still gives you a sense of time so you don't have to fear missing any meetings or similar.

FuzzyTime is the spiritual successor to the classic application FuzzyClock, and supports all the 74 languages that FuzzyClock did, and more! You can also spice up your clock by using a custom font.

Another neat thing you can do is setting up special times where you would like to show a certain message or play a sound. Very useful for remembering lunch!

Don't forget to check out our website for more hints when using FuzzyTime!

A clock for humans

It's so much nicer to have a clock which gives the answer to 'What time is it?' in the way a human would answer. "25 after" or "5 vor halb nach". Who really gives a toot about saying it's 7:23?

I've had this on my computers since the days of FuzzyClock and would miss it greatly if it ever disappeared.

The change in the size of the menubar in Big Sur has put its message out of alignment, but otherwise it is fine.

great FuzzyClock replacement

Was using something called FuzzyClock for years to do what this does: put the time into your menubar in a fun, easy-to-read manner. The translation options are very fun, and pretty much any language you can think of is represented here.

Not to ruin the party but I'd have gladly paid a few bucks for this!

Useful application

This is a very useful application for keeping track of time entertaining or less stressful. Because it only updates every 5 minutes it makes you focus less on how every minute is passing.
My only complaint is it has some bugs with High Sierra, like dissappearing when switching profiles. It launches instantaneously when openend though so it’s just a minor inconvienience. And it’s free!
