After authorizing remixes of her material for the first time in 2010, Norah Jones took a leap for her next album. After the singer/songwriter let a single and a b-side from The Fall be reworked, she then gave the green light to remixes of more than half the material on the Danger Mouse–produced Little Broken Hearts from 2012. At the core of the Remix EP are four songs reinterpreted by TV on the Radio co-founder/multi-instrumentalist David Andrew Sitek. “Good Morning” morphs from a beatless waking dreamscape to a glitch-tinged drum machine–driven meditation, while “After the Fall” gets a deep dub makeover. “Miriam” is amped up by Peter Bjorn and John with guitar, riffs, buoyant bass lines, and handclaps.
