Susan Weinert

The trio of guitarist/composer Susan Weinert, her bassist husband Martin and drummer Hardy Fischoetter first formed in Germany in 1985; after years of steady touring, in 1992 the combo issued their debut album Mysterious Stories, followed two years later by Crunch Time. Pianist Rachel Z. signed on for Weinert's third LP, 1997's The Bottom Line; Point of View appeared two years later. ~ Jason Ankeny
